At 1159 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Poca, or near Nitro, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Charleston, Nitro, Winfield, Jefferson, South Charleston, St. Albans, Dunbar, Sissonville, Chesapeake, Marmet, Belle, Cedar Grove, Poca, Cross Lanes, Pinch, Institute, Coal Fork, Teays Valley, Elkview, and Tornado.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 8.
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 96 and 113.
Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 37 and 57.
West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 84 and 95.
Route 119 between mile markers 72 and 80.
