Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE... Southeastern Iredell County in the piedmont of North Carolina... Eastern Lincoln County in the piedmont of North Carolina... Northwestern Mecklenburg County in the piedmont of North Carolina... * WHEN... Until 730 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 538 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected over the next hour. However, additional thunderstorms with heavy rain are possible this evening. Any additional rain could result in a quick return of flooding across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
