THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 226 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 12 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO ASHLAND KNOX MORROW RICHLAND IN NORTHEAST OHIO HOLMES MAHONING MEDINA PORTAGE STARK SUMMIT TRUMBULL WAYNE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AKRON, ALLIANCE, ASHLAND, AURORA, AUSTINTOWN, BOARDMAN, BRUNSWICK, CANTON, CARDINGTON, KENT, KILLBUCK, MANSFIELD, MASSILLON, MEDINA, MILLERSBURG, MOUNT GILEAD, MOUNT VERNON, NILES, ORRVILLE, RAVENNA, RITTMAN, STREETSBORO, WADSWORTH, WARREN, WOOSTER, AND YOUNGSTOWN.
