At 902 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Statesville to 7 miles northwest of Huntersville to 6 miles west of Kannapolis. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Huntersville, Lincolnton, Gastonia, Kannapolis, Northeast Charlotte, Northwest Charlotte, Cornelius, Mt Holly, Davidson and Dallas.
