* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Mecklenburg.

* WHEN...
Until 1045 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 735 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Nuisance to minor flooding is expected in tributaries of Little Sugar Creek, Campbell Creek, and McAlpine Creek, especially along Pence Road, Harrisburg Road, and Robinson Church Road. Ponds and creeks adjacent to CT Myers Golf Course and Waverly Pond may experience sudden rises.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Central Charlotte, South Charlotte, East Charlotte, Northeast Charlotte, Mint Hill, The Plaza and Hidden Valley.
